Welcome to the home of -

High Tower Learning Center

High Tower Learning Center is designed to be a refuge in education, providing an alternative to traditional schooling while maintaining a tried and true spirit of excellence. At High Tower Learning Center, your child will receive the benefit of personal and individualized instruction in a small-school environment, as well as learning at home with assignments that are completed with the help of parent involvement.

It is our philosophy that parents are ultimately responsible to oversee the education of their children.  High Tower recognizes that home schooling remains the best course for children.  God has made parents a child’s first teacher.  Parents begin teaching their child from the moment they’re brought into the world.  Often parents will witness the first word or step.  It is only natural that parents remain the primary teacher of their child. Parents are responsible to teach family values and roles and relationships to their children.  Parents help children discover who they are and what their strengths are.  Parents encourage children to pursue outside interests like music and art. Students who are sent to a classroom five days a week for long hours often miss out on the benefits of a home schooled student. Because we believe so deeply in the home schooling movement, High Tower Learning Center remains a tutoring center that can provide home school and high school diplomas.  Our desire is to come along side those who need help and resources in educating their child at home.  We provide students with teaching instruction two days a week with an optional third.  In order for your child to complete the curriculum they will need to set aside time to do homework during the days they are not at the Tutoring Center.  This will give parents an opportunity to work with their child academically. It is our hope that together we can give your child the best possible education both at home and in the classroom.

High Tower Learning Center is divided into four “clusters” -

Kindergarten
First - Fifth
Sixth - Eighth
Ninth - Twelfth

Each cluster meets twice a week for 3.5 hours and students may come in for tutoring/study hall time on Friday mornings as desired or needed.

Student assignments/assignments-completed lists are posted online via password protected pages, so that parents may check the progress of their student’s homework assignments.
Report cards are given every 9 weeks.
