High Tower Learning Center was founded by Jill Mattingly because she recognized the growing need for a high quality, supplemental education resource for students being homeschooled. Jill holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in History with a minor in Math and Math Education from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon as well as a Master’s of Education Degree in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University in Chicago. Ms. Mattingly is the Dean of Academics, principal, and teacher of High Tower Learning Center. She is assisted by a qualified team of teachers and staff.

The desire of High Tower Learning Center is to provide a refuge in education where home school students can strengthen their skills, develop character and self-discipline, and pursue academic excellence among small groups, all in a Christ-centered environment. Through quality on-going teacher education, an engaging curriculum, consistent parental involvement, and student diligence, our goal is to build students who are lifelong learners.

It is our philosophy that parents are ultimately responsible to oversee the education of their children. High Tower recognizes that homeschooling remains the best educational course for children. Because we believe so deeply in the homeschooling movement, High Tower Learning Center operates as a tutoring center that provides homeschool diplomas and high school transcripts, based on the State of Oregon graduation requirements. Our desire is to come along side those who need help and resources in educating their child at home.
